These terms describe what AfriStudyFree provides and what you can expect from it. Sections marked in brackets will be completed before the final version.

1. What AfriStudyFree is

AfriStudyFree is an assistance and preparation platform for African students exploring study-abroad opportunities. It helps you build a profile, discover and understand scholarship opportunities, organize application materials, track deadlines, and prepare drafts with AI assistance.

AfriStudyFree is not a university, scholarship provider, admissions office, recruitment agency, or visa service, and it does not make decisions about admissions, scholarships, funding, or visas.

2. No guarantee of outcomes

AfriStudyFree does not guarantee admission to any institution, any scholarship, any funding, visa approval, or the success of any application. Match results, readiness reviews, and AI-generated content are guidance and preparation aids only. Decisions are made solely by the institutions, scholarship providers, and authorities you apply to.

3. Your responsibility for your applications

You remain responsible for the accuracy and completeness of your application information and for the final submission of every application. AfriStudyFree does not submit applications, send emails, or contact universities or scholarship providers on your behalf.

Scholarship records may include a verification status and official-source links where available, but information can change. You should always verify final requirements, deadlines, funding details, and application procedures against the official website of the university or scholarship provider before applying.

4. AI-generated drafts require your review

Drafts produced with the AI Application Copilot — including personal statements, motivation letters, scholarship question answers, CV suggestions, and recommender briefs — are starting points prepared from information you have saved. They may be incomplete or unsuitable for your situation. You must review, edit, and approve every draft before using it, and you are responsible for the final content you submit anywhere.

5. Acceptable use

You agree that you will:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information in your profile, documents, and applications.
  • Never upload false documents or misrepresent your qualifications, achievements, or identity.
  • Never use the platform to prepare or support fraudulent applications.
  • Use the account registered to you and not attempt to access another student's records.
  • Not attempt to disrupt, probe, or bypass the platform's security controls.
  • Not misuse scholarship information in ways that violate the terms of the scholarship provider.

We may suspend or close accounts used in violation of these terms. [To be supplied: any further suspension/termination process you wish to define.]

6. Intellectual property

The AfriStudyFree name, branding, website design, and platform software belong to AfriStudyFree. You may not copy, resell, or republish them without permission.

You retain ownership of the content you create or upload — your profile information, documents, notes, and drafts. By using the platform you grant AfriStudyFree only the limited permission needed to store and display that content back to you and to operate the features you use (such as matching and AI-assisted drafting). We do not claim ownership of your materials.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep the platform available and accurate, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability, and features may change as the product develops. Scholarship records may be updated, archived, or removed as their official status changes.

8. Limitation of liability

[To be supplied: a limitation-of-liability clause reviewed for the jurisdiction in which the business operates. Until then: AfriStudyFree provides guidance and preparation tools and is not responsible for decisions made by institutions, scholarship providers, or authorities, or for outcomes of applications.]

9. Governing terms

[To be supplied: governing law and dispute-resolution provisions appropriate for the business's jurisdiction.]

10. Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent through Contact & Support. [To be supplied: a direct contact email address, if you wish to publish one.]
