AfriStudyFree is an AI-assisted study-abroad application platform built for African students. It helps you build a profile, get personalized scholarship matches from opportunities in our database, understand requirements, organize application materials, and prepare stronger applications — all in one private student workspace.
Who is AfriStudyFree built for?
AfriStudyFree is designed for African students who want to study abroad and need help finding realistic, affordable pathways. It is especially useful if you are trying to understand which scholarships and programs actually fit your academic profile, budget, and goals.
Is AfriStudyFree free?
You can create an account, build your profile, and explore basic features at no cost. Paid plans add deeper analysis, document review, deadline tracking, and specialist application review. See the Pricing page for current plan details.
How does scholarship matching work?
AfriStudyFree compares your profile with scholarship opportunities in our database. It explains what fits, what needs verification, and what information may be missing using available details such as citizenship, degree level, field of study, GPA scale, work experience, English test requirements, funding needs, and deadlines. It does not search the entire internet in real time. Matches are guidance only and do not guarantee eligibility, admission, funding, or scholarship success.
Does AfriStudyFree guarantee scholarships?
No. AfriStudyFree helps you identify relevant opportunities and prepare your application, but it does not guarantee that you will receive any scholarship, funding, or admission offer.
Does AfriStudyFree guarantee university admission?
No. AfriStudyFree is a preparation and organization tool. Every university and scholarship provider makes its own admission decisions, and you remain responsible for submitting your own applications.
Are scholarships verified?
Scholarship records display a verification status. Some records have been reviewed against official sources and links; others are still pending review or have missing information. We prioritize official provider websites, and we encourage you to verify final details directly with the provider.
How does AfriStudyFree handle uncertain or missing requirements?
When a requirement is missing or cannot be verified, the platform clearly labels it as uncertain or incomplete rather than guessing. A match may be shown as "Requirements to Check" so you know what still needs confirmation before applying.
Does the AI submit applications for students?
No. The AI Application Copilot helps you prepare drafts, check requirements, and organize your application. You review and approve every draft, and you submit the application yourself. AfriStudyFree does not submit applications on your behalf.
Can I upload my CV and transcript?
Yes. Verified students can upload documents such as CVs, transcripts, degree certificates, identification documents, English test results, and recommendation materials into a private document vault. These documents are tied to your account and are not publicly accessible.
Can students with lower GPAs use AfriStudyFree?
Yes. AfriStudyFree is built around realistic eligibility, not only top grades. The matching engine considers the actual requirements stated by each scholarship and program, so you can see options that may fit your specific academic profile.
Does AfriStudyFree only serve students from Ghana?
No. AfriStudyFree is built for African students broadly. Your citizenship, country of residence, and target destinations are part of your profile, so matches are tailored to your situation.
How does AfriStudyFree evaluate affordability?
AfriStudyFree looks at total estimated cost — including tuition, living expenses, travel, visas, and other costs — alongside available funding such as scholarships, waivers, and assistantships. This gives a clearer picture of remaining cost, not just the headline tuition fee.
How current are scholarship deadlines?
Deadlines are stored as accurately as possible, but they can change. You should always verify the current deadline and requirements on the official scholarship or university website before applying.
What happens after I find a scholarship?
You can save the scholarship, review the match explanation and requirements, and start a private application workspace. The workspace helps you track tasks, documents, notes, deadlines, drafts, and recommendation preparation.
How does the AI Application Copilot work?
The Copilot uses information from your saved profile and application workspace to help you prepare drafts such as motivation letters, personal statements, scholarship answers, CV tailoring notes, and recommender briefs. You can edit, approve, duplicate, or delete every draft. The AI does not invent personal facts or submit applications for you.
Can I delete my account and documents?
Account and document deletion features are planned. In the meantime, you can remove individual documents from your vault and contact support if you need help managing your data.
