Students must pay their own living, travel, visa, vaccinations, residence permit and mandatory mobility costs out of their monthly stipend; NO additional travel/installation grant is provided. (2) Non-fee-paying SELF-FUNDED: participation charges, programme health insurance, registration and service fees waived/covered, but NO monthly scholarship or living/travel allowance; the student must demonstrate living funds for visa purposes. (3) Fee-paying SELF-FUNDED: €4,500 per semester (€18,000 over four semesters) in participation charges PLUS self-funded living, travel and mobility expenses; programme insurance/registration/service charges are included in participation costs. EMMIR advises visa-requiring self-funded students they may need to show €11,208 in a blocked bank account for their first year; verify current consular amounts independently.
